Consultation on the Playing Field Areas

A consultation day was held in the Manor Rooms on Friday 13 th January 2006. The day commenced at 3pm with displays on the history of the playing field areas, proposed plans for the improvement of the area based on the initial consultation with parishioners and questions and answers raised from feedback received. This was well attended with over 70 people coming through the door to look at the displays, ask questions and provide their comments.

This was followed at 7.30pm with a public meeting to give people an opportunity to air their views and ask questions. Approximately 65 people attended the evening meeting and an open and lively debate took place. A number of important issues and questions were raised and noted. These will be taken forward and considered as part of the next stage of the process.

The committee would like to thank everyone who took the time to attend the day’s events.

Cream teas at Bidwell on 12 June - raised £230 for the Annual Christian Summer Camp. Thank you to all that supported the event and a special thanks to the children of Junior Church and their mothers who did all the baking.
